How Easy Is It To Buy A Woden Home?
Buying a first home, or a new home, can seem daunting at first, but Woden Living makes this task a little easier and simpler.
Choice
Have a look around the showhome. Feel free to ask our friendly staff to help you choose which home is right for you.
Reservation
If you reserve a home, we will stop selling it. A small fee is payable, which will eventually form part of the final house payment.
Solicitor
You will need to appoint a solicitor to look after the legal side of the purchase. We can help you by recommending someone in your area.
Mortgage
Most people will require a mortgage, and may want to use an independent financial adviser or deal directly with banks. Again, we’ll be able to help you with this.
Exchange of Contracts
This process legally binds both Woden Homes and the homebuyer to complete the transaction. The agreed deposit is also payable at this stage.
28 Day Notice of Intention to Complete
We will send you this notice when your home is nearly finished. However, a 14 Day Notice to Complete will be sent closer to the date, and will give you a fixed move-in date.
Home Tour And Homeowners File
We will arrange a suitable time to show you around your new home, and ensure that you know how everything works. We will also give you a Homeowners File to keep everything together and to remind you how to use and maintain all features.
Legal Completion
Your solicitor receives the title deeds to your house, and after all formalities have been dealt with, we hand over the keys to your new home.
…and that’s it. You are ready to move in!
